Back in the Good Old Days, the pet of choice at Wabash would most certainly have been a dog. Professors had them, students had them, and the dogs attended class (and I think understood Calculus much more than this poor, dumb fighter pilot!)

Now, things might be just a little different as evidenced by this Wally’s pet photographed at last week’s TGIF. No, it isn’t fake. And, if you look closely, you’ll notice a set of fangs. My lens of choice would have been a 600MM one – allowing me to take this picture from Brownsburg – but I don’t have one.†
